Monthly Crew Meetings (MCMs)

Each month, a Crew Meeting is held to discuss old and new business and bring everyone up to date on general items of interest. This meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The meeting begins at 6:30 PM at Quark's Bar & Restaurant located at Star Trek: The Experience located inside the Las Vegas Hilton. We normally meet at the top of the stairs near the glassed menu and then go to dinner together. Anyone interested in joining our ship, or just interested in Star Trek and would like to visit with us is welcome.

Robert Picardo VIP Dinner with crew of USS Las Vegas and friends

On Friday night, August 9, 2007 at 7:30 PM at Fellini's Italian Restaurant located inside the Stratosphere Casino, members of the crew of the USS Las Vegas hosted a VIP Dinner with special guest Robert Picardo. Mr. Picardo is a well known actor in many circles, but especially to Star Trek fans as the Emergency Medical Hologram on the Star Trek: Voyager series. Mr. Picardo visited with the crew, read from his book and sang for the entertainment of all who attended. Captain Walker, on behalf of the crew presented Mr. Picardo with some gifts in appreciation for his service to the Star Trek community and for visiting with the crew. Thanksgiving Party & Meeting

Representatives from four ships and two Star Trek fan organizations came together on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 for a meal and discussions of future joint events. See the digital images here.

2006 International Federation of Trekkers International Conference - Las Vegas, NV - October 21-22, 2006

The officers and crew of the USS Las Vegas attended the 2006 IFT International Conference on October 21-22, 2006 here in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference was held at the Tuscany Hotel & Casino on Flamingo.

We enjoyed activities such as ship presentations, workshops on how to run our ships and even had a teleconference with our Fleet Admiral, Russ Haslage. On Sunday, Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry and Trevor Roth of Roddenberry.com attended and answered questions and made a special announcement regarding a new affiliation between the IFT and Roddenberry.com.
