About the Ship The USS Las Vegas is an Intrepid class ship. She was commissioned in August, 2005. The USS Las Vegas is a local chapter of the IFT (International Federation of Trekkers) who proudly support and further the vision of the Late Great Bird of the Galaxy, Gene Roddenberry. The USS Las Vegas holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at Quark's Bar & Restaurant located inside Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel and Casino. All crew members as well as anyone interested in joining or even with just an interest in Star Trek are encouraged to attend.
